Clinton State Park

Clinton State Park is a popular choice when it comes to camping.  They have 6 cabins that sleep 6 people, 391 camp sites, a 25 mile hiking & biking trail, fishing ponds, an archery range, an 18 hole disc golf course, a swim beach & sand volleyball court, and so much more! 

Enchanted Oaks

Enchanted Oaks is another popular choice when it comes to camping. They have a 1.5 acre swimming hole, hiking & biking trails, fishing ponds & paddling amenities. Surrounded by beautiful nature, this place truly is enchanting!

James A. Reed Memorial Wildlife Area

With over 3,000 acres of land, this wildlife area has tons to offer! There are 12 lakes, numerous small ponds & hiking trails, camping sites, fishing & hunting sites, a shooting range, and much more! 


Kansas City Kayak & Canoe

If you're looking strictly to get out on the water or learn a new water hobby, Kansas City Kayak & Canoe is the place to go! You'll get to kayak and/or canoe on the Missouri River, a Kansas City icon. They provide boats, lifejackets, paddles, guides (if needed) & transportation so all you have to do is show up & have fun!

Longview Lake Park

Longview Lake Park is perfect for the whole family! Enjoy water sports such as skiing, tubing, jet skiing or enjoy a relaxing ride on a pontoon. They also have several 14 shelters , a full service marina, and more!
