Plaza Tennis Center

The Plaza Tennis Center is located in the heart of metropolitan Kansas City.  
It features a beautiful clubhouse, 14 outdoor lighted courts, a patio, and bleachers for 300 people.
If you're looking for something active to do, this is the spot for you! 

J.C. Nichols Memorial Park

J.C. Nichols Park is the perfect park to spend a relaxing afternoon at.  It is located at the east entrance of the Country Club Plaza. Fun Fact - this fountain is the best-known and most photographed fountains in all of Kansas City. 

Jacob L. Loose Park

If you're looking for something a little more upbeat, yet still relaxing, check out Loose Park! You can enjoy picnic under a nice shady spot, enjoy the wildlife by feeding ducks your leftovers, play with your kids at the wonderful playground, and cool off with the spray park! Adults will love this place too as you can bring adult beverages. With random musicians that pop up regularly and sunshine, you’re guaranteed to have a fabulous spring day!  


Walking Tour of The Plaza's Open-Air Gallery

The Country Club Plaza is full of rich history, beautiful architecture, and breath taking fountains. There is a reason they call  Kansas City "The City of Fountains".  In 1922, The Plaza was designed as the nation's first suburban shopping district. It's open-air public art gallery has been tremendously growing ever since with additions of fountains, sculptures, and murals.
